Madonna Is Shopping Her Next Album Deal!

The "Material Girl" is shopping her next album deal.

While Madonna has an all-encompassing deal with concert giant "Live Nation" that combines touring and recording rights, she is in talks with music labels to distribute and market her new studio album, "The Post" has learned.

One source said the talks with record labels were heating up this week, with all the major players eager to get in on the action.

The singer has been without a record label since she split with "Warner Music Group" in 2007.

Madonna released her final album under her "Warner" contract, "Hard Candy", in 2008, while her accompanying "Sticky and Sweet Tour" was promoted by "Live Nation".

Madonna just revealed that her next full album will be released in the spring.

"Madonna and her manager Guy Oseary are working hand in hand with 'Live Nation' on the launch of her new album, which Madonna is currently recording", her publicist Liz Rosenberg said.

"Many partnership conversations have begun which also include record label distribution, along with non-traditional distribution."

The songstress rocked the music industry when she signed a $120 million, 10-year deal with "Live Nation".

The "360 deal" allowed "Live Nation" to make money from her other businesses, including albums, merchandise, and concerts.

"Live Nation" wanted to set up its own recording business, "Live Nation Artists", to rival the major music labels but has since retreated from that business.

Meanwhile, sources said that Madonna and others have grown restless under their long-term "Live Nation" deals.

"Rumors that Madonna is looking to end her relationship with 'Live Nation' could not be further from the truth", said Rosenberg, when asked whether Madonna is looking to exercise an "out" clause from her "Live Nation" contract.
